Ron’s mum says he’s not a playboy

Barely a day passes without Cristiano Ronaldo being caught poolside with a bevy of blonde, curvaceous beauties. However, according to the perma-tanned Portuguese star’s doting mum Dolores, his well-documented dalliances with the opposite sex are just a smokescreen, and he’s actually a lovely boy at heart.
Yes ladies, Romeo Ron in no way a sex-mad international playboy. Over to you, Dolores. “I encourage him to go out and meet different girls while he is young and single,” she says. “He’s got to enjoy himself. But he is not a playboy, despite his image.
“He has only had two girls and Paris [Hilton] is just a friend,” continued Madeira’s most famous mum. “He phoned me to say he had met her. But she is not his girlfriend. If they were having a romance I’d be the first to know about it. He tells me everything.”
Dolores, 56, is said to be over the moon with Ron’s recent transfer to Real Madrid, and is eager to spend some quality time with her son in the Spanish capital. She has been the winking winger’s biggest supporter since he was a wee slip of a lad, shovelling copious amounts of pasta down his neck in an effort to beef him up for a career in football.
Dolores has met two of Ron’s ex squeezes – TV presenter Merche Romero and bikini-wearing model Nereida Gallardo, but was apparently none too keen on either of them. Word has it she’s hoping her lad eventually settles down with a nice Portuguese girl, presumably with a granny flat in the back yard where she can keep an eye on them.
